Friends of Red Hill School (PTA)
Welcome to the PTA section.
The Friends of Red Hill is an energetic and committed team comprising of parents, the head teacher, deputy headteacher and supportive members of the community who raise funds for the children's education. We meet on a regular basis to discuss and implement fund raising plans and ideas for the months ahead, including the Summer Fete, our Firework Extravaganza and the School Discos.
Whether you are an existing, new or prospective parent we'd very much welcome the opportunity to say "hello" properly... so PLEASE don't be shy, make contact via our email or speak to us at school. We are always looking for new members (mums, dads, nans, granddads or any other carers) who can help in many different ways and bring fresh new ideas; it doesn’t matter if you can’t help regularly or attend all meetings. Maybe you could be the person who helps at a disco or fete for an hour or so or you are good with people and could drum up some much-needed support/funding/raffle prizes from businesses or sell raffle tickets. Every little helps!
Our ultimate aim is to raise as much money as possible for the school and its pupils. The Friends of Red Hill has raised thousands of pounds, which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education, fun and the facilities in school in general.
