Church Life

As a church school

We are proud of our distinctively Christian ethos and work closely with the Church of England Diocese of Worcester; https://www.cofe-worcester.org.uk/. We work collaboratively to ensure their vision and purpose for education is shown through their biblical exhortation to 'live life in all its fullness' (John 10:10).

As a church school, we hold our 6 core values at the heart of all that we do. We actively worship as a whole school each week.

At Red Hill C of E Primary School, we look to Jesus as our example in our aspirations for excellence and enjoyment in all that we do. We believe that everyone is unique and everything is celebrated.

God created you to be amazing!

Our 6 core Christian Values are:

Friendship, Love, Respect, Responsibility, Hope and Perseverance

Our School Prayer is:

God our Father,

we come to say, thank you for your love today.

Thank you for my family and all the friends you give to me.

Guard me in the dark of night and in the morning send your light.

Amen

Our children have the opportunity to lead the whole school with their own spontaneous prayers using our '5 finger prayer' prompt

5 Finger Prayer Prompt for spontaneous prayers

Thumb - pray for those closest to us, family and friends

Pointer finger - pray for those who point us in the right direction

Middle finger - pray for those in power and leadership

Ring finger - pray for those who are weak or sick

Little finger - pray for ourselves

Collective worship is invitational and parents can request that their child opt out.

Our Collective Worship & RE CREW help to oversee collective worship in our school!

SIAMS inspection

As a church school, we are also inspected by The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS). Please take a look at the criteria for these inspections using the link below:

St Martin's Church

We pride ourselves on our close links with our church St Martin's. We work in collaboration with members of the clergy team who are regular visitors to school! We often visit the church too for acts of worship as well as celebrations of festivals.

Take a look at St Martin's for more information and to meet the team: https://www.stmartinsworcester.org.uk/
